The Sisters' Stitchings was created by four women who grew up together on a Kansas farm. They were taught to sew at an early age by their mother and have enjoyed making their own clothes ever since. As time passed by they also made items for the home - from tablecloths and placemats to curtains and bedspreads. Each of the girls also learned to crochet, knit, cross-stitch, and embroider. These skills were passed on from grandmother, to mother, to daughters. Together the sisters have over 100 years of experience creating things with their own hands. They enjoyed making their families' lives a little warmer and brighter.

Each of these women has dedicated her life to teaching and working with and for others. Through it all they have continued to sew, quilt, crochet, knit, cross-stitch, and embroider and now they would like to share their handcrafted creations with you. As you browse through the following pages think of the love and skill that went into each of the items. Every stitch contains a little bit of the person who made it. Let the sisters share their talents with you and those you love.

Today the sisters still like to create things.  Among them are items you will find on the website:
