  • Vicky became a Home Economist and passed on those same skills that are fast becoming a lost art to other young girls that she herself was taught as a girl.
  • Susan married and farmed alongside her husband and father before returning to teaching. She taught for years in the elementary school system and is now a rehabilitation educator in the prison system.
  • Penny married and raised a family while working side by side with her husband on their family farm.
  • Sally earned her Master's Degree in Mathematics and is now an online tutor for at-risk students in math and reading and teaches college algebra online.

...and at the end of the day each sister still finds satisfaction in creating with her own hands.
