Quilt or Wallhanging (Sample) The item is 28" wide by 27 1/2" long with a hanger for use as a wallhanging already attached. The design is a split rail fence log cabin done in red, white, and blue. The border is 3 1/4" wide and it has self binding. Quilting was done on a sewing machine by stitching "in the ditch" which would be in the seam lines. You couldn't go wrong with a quilt which is nice either as a wall hanging or for a baby quilt!
This quilt will be made to order to your color specifications.
The lap-sized quilt is 48" x 48" and would also be suitable for baby quilt or a wall-hanging. The pattern is based upon an Ohio Star quilt block. The colors are a lavendar print against a navy blue with small lavendar and light blue bouquets. The binding is self made and of a purple which matches the small inner border. The quilting is done by stitching in the ditch or seamline between the blocks and continues on out to the border. The binding is hand-stitched to the back.
This lap-sized quilt is 39.5" x 39.5" would also be a good size for a baby quilt. The Log Cabin Quilt design is based upon the Ohio Star. It features a colorful garden of flowers with the basic colors of pink and a mixture of blues contrasted with a tone-on-tone blue print of flowers. The inner border matches the binding and is a solid blue color. The backing is blue too although a little darker than the binding. The binding is hand-stitched to the back. Quilting is done by stitching in the ditch or seam line along the main seam lines.
